Who is JB Rollo?
Who am I?
The terms of the Federal Witness Protection Program prevent me from discussing this. Suffice it to say that I am fond of long walks on the beach.

In the mid 1970’s I decided to get a new job, one that was part of a real career. Up until then, I had mainly worked in restaurants. I enjoyed them and I did make pretty good money, but I always knew that I’d have to get a “real” job someday. I was getting pretty […]
One of my all-time favorite jobs was working at Romeo’s Pizza back in the early 1970’s. It was a small Italian Restaurant with a counter and a few tables. They specialized in old-fashioned, hand-thrown pizzas. I was a delivery boy and pizza maker. I worked there with several of my college friends.
The house I grew up in was directly across from an elementary school with a huge, paved playground. It was great. We spent most of our waking hours on that playground. Dear Tim Cook, First, I must admit that I am a huge technology geek. I love all of the gadgets; the iPhone, the iPod, the iPad, the MacBook and the Apple TV. Yes, I am an ardent Apple enthusiast. I have been since my first Mac SE.
Okay, so I’m flying at 3200 feet at almost 600 MPH somewhere between Glasgow and Iceland over the North Atlantic and I suddenly realize that I’m in a battle of the bladders with the woman sitting next to me.
While in Firenze I visited the Uffizi. This is a huge building built-in the 1500’s to create offices for the Florentine magistrate. Uffizi actually means “offices” in Italian.
Upon arriving in Firenze (Florence), the first thing I did was to check into the hotel. It was very close to the train station and the popular tourist spots. The hotel was a flight up the stairs and still in the process of some remodeling.
In a recent trip to Italy I stayed in a quaint, little hotel in the small Italian town of Sermide, on the Po River. It had been over 40 years since my last visit to Italy. I was just getting unpacked and wandered into the bathroom.
I was a born again Christian for almost two weeks. This happened during my formative years when I was around 19. Of course, there was a woman to blame. What else could have driven me to such an extreme?
